AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles is working on building the world’s most innovative ocean research campus on the waterfront in San Pedro. The institute’s vision is to turn to the ocean to develop solutions for some of the planet’s most pressing challenges, such as climate change, energy supply and global food security.
