Mark Wilson is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Pre-Hospital Care Doctor. He is Professor of Brain Injury at Imperial College and the Gibson Chair of Pre-Hospital Care in the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. His area of interest is the hyper-acute management of brain injury and hypoxic brain injury. He has worked extensively overseas including with NASA (investigating intracranial pressure in Astronauts) and on many expeditions. He is co-founder and medical director of GoodSAM (www.goodsamapp.org) - a global platform that crowd sources trained responders in emergencies and enables urgent telemedical assessment of patients.
