The intention of this podcast is provide you with a hand to hold along your first few weeks as a parent. Each day for the first three weeks after you have your baby (or babies), there will an episode for you to listen to with some hopefully helpful insight and tips.
While I am a postpartum doula and holistic nutritionist, I am not approaching this as an expert but as the honest friend that so many of us need during this time. I am going to talk with you about some of the common things that come up for us and give you some tips that helped me or have helped others I know. I’ll also point you to resources that have provided me with more insight into some of these subjects if you want to go deeper.
Also! I want to remind you of something: Being a parent is serious, but if you take yourself too seriously on this road, it’s gonna suck.
Let’s take some deep breaths and learn to laugh at all the ways we’re going to screw up and let’s enjoy this new version of ourselves and our new baby. It may take some time but we’ll get there…together.
