In this episode of the Roamin' The Empire podcast, we take a look at the Gallo-Roman site of Noviodunum, located among the present-day town of Jublains in the Mayenne department of Northern France. Not to be confused with a number of other settlements that bear the name. Among the intriguing features of the city are the so-called fortress and a uniquely designed theater. Also a discussion on the enigmatic dodecahedron, of which one is on display at the site museum.
