In this podcast series I am connecting nine songs together in an episode using only the songwriters as the thread that runs through the theme (not always playing the most famous song - it's a learning experience too hopefully). For instance this first episode starts with Gary Moore, then the second song is written by Gary Moore and Phil Lynott, the third written by Phil Lynott and John Sykes etc. until the last song could be written by anyone from any genre because a lot of songwriters mix in many circles, not just the genre they're popular for. Sometimes the songwriter doesn't even play on the song you're listening to, but I have tried to ensure they are.I'm not telling you where each episode ends because that would spoil the fun - why don't you try to guess where it will go in nine songs!
