It may be summer recess for the US Senate, but Rand Paulcontinues to make the media rounds to support the relaunch of GovernmentBullies- the paperback version of which was released earlier this month.The Senator continues to be a prominent voice in the national dialogue,weighing in prominently on foreign aid to Egypt reforming the mandatory natureof the nation’s drug laws. The dust has begun to settle following the war ofwords between Dr. Paul and Gov. Chris Christie, although the press is notparticularly interested in letting the issue go. Also, the Senator is receivingscrutiny over his ongoing support for the reelection of Senate Majority LeaderMitch McConell (R-KY). The alliance is arguably hypocritical for a man who rodein on the 2010 tea party rebellion.
