You're listening to DraftKings

0:04

Network. You're

0:09

tuned in to the Ross Tucker Football

0:11

Podcast, guiding your gridiron journey, none other

0:13

than your host, former NFL lineman, Ross

0:15

Tucker. Oh, yeah

0:18

it is! But it's not

0:20

just any Ross Tucker Football

0:22

Podcast, it is a Wisdom

0:24

Wednesday, presented of course

0:26

by DraftKings Sportsbook. Love

0:28

those dudes, love all of you, love

0:31

those especially of you who use the

0:33

code Ross over at the

0:35

DK Sportsbook. The wisdom today comes

0:38

from a rookie, Isaiah

0:40

Adams, out of Illinois,

0:43

third round pick for the

0:45

Cardinals. Absolutely love getting

0:47

a chance to talk to a rookie right

0:49

after the NFL draft

0:52

and that experience, right before their

0:54

first mini camp. This is going

0:56

to be fun. Plus, yes

0:59

I have thoughts on the

1:01

NFL versus NBA thing and hopefully

1:03

I'll get a chance tomorrow to

1:06

go ahead and make sure

1:08

that I can give out some

1:11

winners for spreading the word via

1:13

social media, at Ross Tucker NFL,

1:15

at Ross Tucker Pod, taking advantage

1:17

of any of our sponsors or

1:19

the YouTube shout out winner, youtube.com/Ross

1:22

Tucker NFL. By the way, Tyron

1:24

Matthew will be on tomorrow's show.

1:26

Pro Bowl safety for the New

1:28

Orleans Saints. That'll be awesome as

1:30

well. Spread the word. It's big

1:32

show time. The Big

1:34

Show. Man,

1:37

I always love these interviews.

1:40

For a lot of different reasons. Number one,

1:42

I love talking to offensive linemen. Number

1:44

two, I love talking with rookies after

1:47

they just went through the draft and

1:49

or are heading into their mini camp.

1:51

Well, we're combining both. I'm talking with

1:54

Isaiah Adams, third round

1:56

pick for the Arizona

1:58

Cardinals offensive. from Illinois.

2:01

I say I get so fired

2:03

up for this. I get a million questions for you,

2:05

dude. But I guess

2:07

let's just start with Draft Day.

2:09

Okay. So, Tammy back, you probably

2:11

knew you weren't going first round,

2:13

right? So then Friday night,

2:15

did you think you were going on

2:18

Friday night? Where were you? Who were

2:20

you with? Like, give me the scene.

2:22

And were you definitely on Friday night?

2:24

Or do you think Friday or Saturday?

2:26

So, when you went Friday, did you

2:28

like go crazy? Give me the whole

2:30

deal. Yeah. So, thanks for

2:32

having me, by the way. But yeah,

2:34

I did know where I was going

2:36

to go. I knew it was like

2:38

in between like late day two to

2:41

early day three. So, scheduling

2:43

on a get together was kind of hard. I

2:45

had to schedule two. But Friday

2:47

was more so a kind of close family. And

2:49

then Saturday, I was going to like let a

2:52

bunch of people kind of come and check it

2:54

out. But then

2:56

on day two, my agent was kind of saying, if

2:58

you do go in the third round,

3:00

it might be pick like 90 to 100,

3:03

like, you know, right at that bottom end. So,

3:06

to get picked 20 picks earlier was

3:09

obviously crazy. I remember when my phone

3:11

started vibrating, I'm like, man,

3:13

no way. Like I was literally

3:15

like screaming already. And yeah,

3:17

it was just an exciting time for me and

3:20

my family. Like, it was really like, it

3:22

was probably the most real moment I've ever had in my life.

3:26

Dude, that is amazing. You know,

3:28

I'll say this, man, I talk to

3:30

a lot of people. It

3:32

is rare for you

3:34

to go earlier than you think you're going

3:36

to go. Like that almost never happens.

3:39

Like everybody that goes in the second

3:41

round, they're going to be first round picks. Third

3:44

round, guys, all thought they were going in

3:46

the second round. I had a former teammate,

3:48

Isaiah, that he didn't think he was

3:51

going till day three, which

3:53

was on Sunday back then. So

3:56

Saturday, he was at a wedding.

3:58

He was a groom has been in a wedding. And

4:01

the dolphins were calling him and

4:04

his like phone was turned off because

4:06

he thought he was going on

4:08

day three and he's in a wedding and

4:10

he can't turn his phone on and the

4:13

Miami dolphins are like tying, O'Liamon from Tex

4:16

A&M, Taylor Whitley. It's

4:18

a crazy, crazy story.

4:21

I love that. I love that story. All

4:24

right. So it's special for everybody. But

4:27

let's talk especially about you, man. I mean,

4:29

you and I were talking before we started

4:31

the interview, your story

4:34

is just crazy. So

4:36

tell everybody where you're

4:39

from, what you grew up

4:41

doing, when you started

4:43

playing football. I need the whole

4:45

background. I mean, I love the background,

4:47

any guy, but yours is unique.

4:49

Oh, so I grew up in Ajax, Ontario,

4:52

just outside of Toronto, growing

4:54

up in Canada. Obviously the first thing you

4:56

love is hockey. So kind of the first

4:58

sport I really like learned to

5:00

play was hockey at a high level. I

5:02

was a defenseman, just crushing guys on the

5:05

boards, stuff like that. It was

5:07

a physical team game, loved it. And

5:09

then, you know, I started getting a bit bigger and

5:12

I had a trainer tell me, hey, man, you're playing

5:14

the wrong sport. So in the eighth grade, I

5:17

stopped playing hockey after like seven

5:19

years and I transitioned to football,

5:22

played a little bit of basketball in between

5:24

that. But yeah, I started taking football really

5:26

serious in high school, played

5:29

it all the way through from grade nine to 12.

5:32

And a Canadian university was really

5:34

my only kind of offer. So

5:37

I was like, hey, like I'm trying to play

5:39

university ball, but, you know, I kind of was

5:41

like, all right, let's do it in Canada. And

5:45

COVID happened after my second year there and

5:48

I'm scratching the car to play football and

5:50

it led me to Garden City. I started

5:52

sending my film to about 200 coaches

5:55

in the States and,

5:57

you know, junior college was kind of my rope.

6:00

during COVID, the recruiting portal was

6:03

filled up. It was pretty crazy. Get

6:06

to Garden City, and it was like, wow, like,

6:08

it's real now. How bad

6:10

do you want it? And, you

6:12

know, if anyone's ever been to JUCO, you can

6:14

attest to how, you know, how gritty

6:17

it gets down there and how

6:20

much, how little support, I should say,

6:22

you do have. So it all comes down to how much

6:24

do you love the game. And

6:27

that led me to Illinois. I know

6:29

Brett Billman is a great

6:31

coach with, you know, a great track record

6:33

of offensive linemen. And, you know,

6:35

coming out of JUCO, I had two years left,

6:37

and I trusted the guy who's done it the

6:39

best. So, yeah, man,

6:42

I came to Illinois, and it

6:44

was business time. There's some really good players around

6:46

me, like I can list them all. But,

6:50

yeah, we had a really, you know, good

6:52

locker, good culture that I was able to grow in

6:54

and become a man and become a

6:56

better football player. Unbelievable

6:59

story. Like so many different aspects of

7:01

it. I want to go back. So,

7:05

dude, I always, now, first of all, I

7:07

can't ice skate at all. Not at all.

7:09

I've tried a few times. I can't even

7:11

roller skate anymore. But I

7:14

would have loved, we actually have season tickets

7:16

to the Hershey Bears and the AHL. I

7:20

live 10 minutes away, and I

7:22

love it. Like they're all like 19 to 25-year-old

7:24

Canadian or whatever. And

7:28

I can't tell the difference between AHL and NHL.

7:30

Like to me, right? They're just like flying around

7:32

hitting each other. Like we have second

7:34

row seats right next to the opposing

7:37

team. I always try

7:39

to offer those guys a beer, and they're like,

7:41

no, I can't, you know, while I'm watching it.

7:44

But I always thought I could have

7:46

been a goon defenseman.

7:49

Like I would have loved, I love how you

7:51

can just take your glove and just like wipe

7:53

it on their face and stuff. So my question

7:55

is, how hard was it to

7:58

give up hockey? because sounds

8:01

like that was your first love. Sounds

8:03

like you were pretty good at it. Man,

8:07

it was hard just kind of like before I

8:09

even got on the field. My older brother, he's

8:12

four years older than me that, you know, I

8:14

looked up to him so much, still do, like

8:16

one of my best friends. But

8:19

he was a really good hockey player, so I was just trying

8:21

to get like my older brother. And I

8:24

didn't want to give it up. I didn't want to

8:26

give that dream up. But as soon as I hit

8:29

the field, I got around guys like my size. And

8:31

I remember we were doing a conditioning drill, and they

8:33

broke it up between the small guys and the, you

8:36

know, the bigger guys. And I'm like, man, I

8:39

just play hockey where we're all, all

8:41

of us are running at the same pace. We're all

8:43

running around a track and stuff like that. I'm

8:45

like, this is amazing. I get to

8:48

run with the big guys. I get to like hang with

8:50

the big guys the whole day. And

8:52

I was a bigger guy, like I said. So I

8:54

just felt at home. And I was

8:56

just at peace, man. I was with guys who wanted to

8:59

do what I do, just smash the whole

9:01

kind of mentality. What

9:05

is, what's football like in Canada?

9:08

Like how big of a deal is it now

9:10

when you started to play whatever, I don't know if you said

9:12

it was eighth grade or ninth grade? Yeah.

9:16

How popular is it? Like where would you rank

9:18

it on the other sports? Is

9:21

it growing? Give me a breakdown of

9:23

football in Canada. I'd

9:26

say it would go probably hockey, then

9:28

basketball, then football. So

9:30

it's bigger than like a sport like

9:33

lacrosse, but just in terms

9:35

of like the financial

9:37

side of it, like even

9:39

at my Canadian University, like the

9:41

facilities were nothing like that. At

9:45

Illinois, there was just

9:48

not that much support. There's a bunch of kids who

9:50

really love this game out in Canada. And

9:54

there's just not a lot of people

9:56

pushing it, like where in America there's

9:58

a great deal of support. great deal

10:00

of networking. But it's

10:03

like when I got to university, I was playing a

10:05

guy who was 22 years old. He went seventh overall

10:07

in the CFL draft. And he was a solid player,

10:10

like even comparing him to,

10:12

you know, some of the guys I faced in junior

10:15

college, like he was a

10:17

solid player. So

10:19

it's not the craziest deal, but it's not, it

10:21

also will make you better. And it did make

10:23

me better those first two years. What

10:27

was your pre-draft process like?

10:29

So you finish up the

10:31

season with Illinois. Where were you? Where

10:34

did you train? And

10:37

what was that part of it like for you? I

10:40

trained in Frisco, Texas with Sports

10:42

Academy. My trainer was the big Duke.

10:44

So I got the big one. Oh,

10:47

you were a Duke? Yeah, I was with Duke. Oh,

10:49

that's amazing. He comes on the show like

10:51

once a year. I love Duke. Oh,

10:54

yeah, exactly. Great guy. Unbelievable guy. Really

10:57

good things the right way. Had a nice organized

10:59

plan for all of us. I

11:01

was with some of the top guys in the country that

11:04

was nice to like, you know, compete with them for four

11:06

months, or two months, part of me. And

11:08

really just, you know, see where I was at, like,

11:10

you know. And he does a great job with the

11:12

strength side. And we had a

11:14

good guy named Mo Wells with the speed training.

11:17

But, you know, you're out there

11:19

at the time of the, like, the Cowboys world,

11:21

it's, you know, it's by like the star and

11:23

stuff like that. And, yeah,

11:26

it was a great experience. I never really lived in

11:28

Dallas for a bit. So that was, I

11:30

can always say that I have now. And it was

11:32

a good experience. And definitely put

11:35

in some work. Like, it was tough days. Yeah,

11:38

for sure. That's

11:40

awesome. Okay. But then you came back. What was it

11:42

like, you said it was just close

11:44

family. Tell me who the close

11:47

family was and what it was like for

11:49

them when you got that call. So

11:53

close family consists of my mom, my

11:55

two sisters, my brother, like

11:57

I said, my older brother, and then my aunt.

11:59

and uncles. So

12:02

I have an uncle, my mom has a sister

12:04

and a brother, so them, their kids, and

12:07

then like five of my best friends.

12:09

That was kind of my close, like my

12:11

close kind of circle. And

12:13

I just remember telling

12:15

them like, Hey, chill out. Like we got

12:17

time, like we got time to eat. Like,

12:19

you know, like if I do go

12:21

today, it's going to be late in the day. Like

12:23

just hang out. Like, you know, don't

12:26

get too excited. And then, you

12:28

know, you're kind of just waiting there and they're all like, are

12:30

you okay? And then when my phone starts

12:33

vibrating, like, I'm

12:35

just like, Whoa, like, guys, guys,

12:37

guys, I'm getting the call, whatever. And they

12:40

start flipping out. They start flipping out.

12:42

They try to like, you know, like

12:45

quiet down over the call. I

12:47

hang up the phone and

12:50

I start screaming. I start screaming

12:52

like, Whoa, like, like, ah, and

12:56

I was like, where are you going though?

12:58

Like, cause I'm just screaming like my head

13:00

off. And then I said, I'm

13:02

going to Arizona and they just, you know,

13:04

lit up like the energy in the room

13:06

was crazy. Did you

13:08

end up having a party the next day with everybody else? Yeah,

13:11

yeah, yeah, yeah. A bunch of people in

13:13

my town, like this is kind of a huge

13:16

deal in my small little town. So

13:18

everyone wanted to stop by and congratulate me.

13:20

And you know, I have to give that opportunity.

13:24

Hell yeah. It's a, it's a

13:27

huge deal in any town, man.

13:29

NFL draft pick third round pick,

13:31

but especially, you know, and

13:34

how do you say it again? Is Ajax Ajax

13:36

like the Cleveland like the Cleveland thing. Yeah,

13:39

that is absolutely

13:42

incredible. It gives me goose. I still remember

13:44

when the Redskins called me and

13:46

then for me, I wasn't a third round pick. I was

13:48

undrafted. So I still remember calling my mom

13:50

and dad when I made the team as a

13:53

rookie, it was, it was awesome. And

13:55

that was so, it was so cool for you

13:57

is later in the. the

14:00

third round, the Cardinals took

14:02

one of your teammates. Yeah, yeah.

14:04

That's a big tight end. Is it Tip

14:06

Ryman? Is it Ryman? Yeah, yeah,

14:08

Tip Ryman. So I don't know how close you were,

14:11

but that's kind of awesome that you're

14:13

going to this new situation, NFL, you're

14:15

moving out to Phoenix or whatever, but

14:17

you got one of your boys with you already.

14:20

Yeah, no, that's like a bass brother. Like, I

14:22

played a bunch of tackle this year, so we

14:24

got to work triples. We were

14:26

also team captains, two older

14:28

guys in the locker room. That's

14:31

what we got along really well.

14:33

And man, he's a great guy.

14:35

I can't wait to work with him. Our

14:38

relationship is really, really close. Dude,

14:41

he is big and fast for a tight end.

14:44

He is big and fast. He's a freak, man.

14:46

He's strong, strong. Like,

14:49

he's strong, too. So I'm so

14:51

happy that he's coming to the Cardinals. I know he's going to

14:53

make a crazy impact for

14:55

them. So when did

14:57

you first think Isaiah? This

15:01

could happen. Like, did this could

15:03

really be realistic? Was it Garden

15:06

City? Was it Canada? Was

15:08

it you had to get to Illinois

15:10

and play well to Illinois? I'm as good

15:12

as these guys. When did you first think this

15:14

might be a realistic possibility? I

15:18

think it was like, it

15:21

was my first game at Illinois, definitely. Nervous

15:25

as ever, you know, coming from Garden City, like, how am

15:27

I going to compare? You know, we

15:29

were playing Wyoming, so it wasn't a

15:32

big 10 rivalry, but I knew Wyoming was

15:34

a solid group of five school. I

15:37

finished that game with 17 knockouts. And

15:40

after that day, I was like, whoa, like,

15:44

I maybe can do this. Like, you know,

15:46

there was guys who started there for three

15:48

years on that line, two years, and

15:50

I was like, I pretty much not

15:53

like I played like just as good, if not

15:55

better than them. And I'm like, this

15:57

is my first game. I'm just getting my feet wet. After

16:00

that, I kind of knew after

16:02

the season, you know, you get

16:04

those draft grades after you're, you know, you're junior

16:06

and senior season and then saw

16:09

my draft grade and it really became real that

16:12

I'm not really a guy like who's like kind of looking

16:14

too far ahead in the future. I'm really in the moment.

16:18

I'm like, I'm going to humble to a fault. So

16:20

that's kind of why I thought I was going to get

16:22

drafted a bit later I was probably selling myself short. I

16:24

always do just pushes me a

16:26

little bit, but yeah I didn't really know

16:29

until I got my name called

16:31

even the week, week before the

16:33

draft I'm like, this still isn't real. I'm not

16:35

good enough and stuff like that but it is real.

16:39

It is real man and it's amazing.

16:41

So, you got mini camp this weekend

16:43

now I think it's just rookie mini

16:45

camp right. Yeah. Okay,

16:47

that's a little bit different but

16:49

talk to me about back

16:52

in the day there was no rookie mini camp,

16:54

the first mini camp after the draft. Everybody.

16:58

So I went in there Isaiah, and I was

17:00

like, it was like, Bruce

17:02

Smith, and Lavar

17:05

Arrington and Daryl Green and

17:07

like, all these guys into being

17:09

like Hall of Famers and I'm just like next

17:12

to them at the EKG machine like for the

17:14

physical I was like I was looking around like,

17:16

it was all these guys I've been playing with

17:18

on Madden for like 10 years I was like

17:20

what is happening right now. It

17:23

was surreal. So, but you'll be with

17:26

the rookies obviously which is still cool.

17:28

Just talk to me about your mentality

17:30

now, what the Cardinals have told you

17:32

what, what your expectations are going into

17:35

this weekend and beyond. I'm

17:38

just ready to get better, learn

17:40

the playbook, really get a master of

17:42

the offense. You

17:45

know, show the coaches that they can trust me. And I just want to

17:47

do my job. That's all

17:49

I'm focused on that's all I care about learning

17:51

the playbook, executing on the field and,

17:54

you know, meet like showing the

17:56

guys that I care about them I care about this

17:58

team and hopefully the coaches can see that I'm

18:01

expecting to compete, you know, and the

18:04

Cardinals have made that clear. There's going to be

18:06

a competition and there's a need. So

18:09

I'm just ready to compete, ready to learn the

18:11

playbook and show them like, you know, what I

18:13

can do. I can do my job every place.

18:15

So... Yeah,

18:18

I mean, I'm looking at it. There

18:20

are legitimate opportunities to start at

18:22

guard as a rookie for

18:24

you there, man. That is exciting. And

18:27

I've got an article coming out this

18:29

week as well as a

18:31

video with some rookie advice. I

18:34

love what you said about making sure you

18:36

know what you're doing. Mental mistakes are just

18:39

unacceptable and coaches can't handle

18:41

that part of it. And I already know you

18:43

got the physicality part of it down. I

18:46

would just encourage you, get a

18:48

routine and watch

18:50

like, in particular, what

18:53

Jonah Williams does and what Beachum

18:55

does. Those guys,

18:57

I know Beachum and I know Jonah

19:00

a little bit. They have awesome routines.

19:03

So you see them going in the cold tub. When

19:05

you see what they do at 6 a.m. when they

19:07

get there, when you see what they do before

19:09

and after, when the vets get there, mimic

19:11

them, man, because there's a reason why

19:13

Jonah just got that contract. You

19:15

know, the reason why Beachum has been in the league forever.

19:18

If you take some of the things that those

19:20

guys do, that'll take you a long way. Jonah

19:23

Williams, when he was in college, had

19:25

handwritten notes on every guy he

19:27

went against, like a whole database. He made

19:30

like a spider chart. Like,

19:34

you're a pro now, man. I'm so excited for you.

19:36

Really appreciate you coming on the show. Fired up to

19:38

watch you this season. I

19:41

actually got a chance to do a

19:44

Cardinals game last year for CBS against

19:46

the Ravens. I know

19:48

Gannon very well, their head coach on

19:50

again from his time in Philly. So

19:52

I'm pumped for you, man. And that's

19:54

an awesome place to live too, man.

19:56

Like, I mean, it's better than Garden

19:58

City and Champaign. It

20:01

might be better than Canada too. I

20:03

grew up so much. I wasn't going to

20:06

knock the hometown, exactly. I think Toronto is

20:08

pretty sweet. And I'm not knocking Champaign or

20:10

Garden City either, but there's a reason why

20:12

a lot of guys move out there. There's

20:14

a lot of ex-NFL guys that live out

20:17

there. I'm pumped for you. Are

20:19

you on social media or anything? You want to throw anything out so

20:21

people can follow you? Man,

20:24

I am on social media. Isaiah Adams, if you're

20:26

looking for me, not

20:28

the craziest guy on social media, but we'll get

20:30

there one day, maybe after my career. Awesome,

20:34

man. Thanks so much for coming on the show. Good luck.

20:36

Kick some butt this weekend. Thanks so much for

20:38

having me, guys. Awesome stuff with

20:40

Isaiah. Hopefully you guys enjoyed that as much

20:43

as I do. You know what I'm really

20:45

enjoying these days? My wife's

20:47

got me hooked on these things. These

20:49

factor meals. They've got

20:52

calorie smart, protein plus, keto.

20:54

They are fresh. They

20:57

are never frozen. They are

20:59

dietician approved. They are ready to eat

21:01

in just two minutes. That's

21:04

what I'm looking for. No matter how busy you

21:06

are, you'll always have time

21:08

to enjoy nutritious, great

21:10

tasting meals. My

21:13

wife was using these before they even became a

21:15

sponsor, which is really

21:17

good timing. If you listened

21:20

or watched yesterday's Even Money

21:22

podcast, you saw me showing

21:24

the box. I think it

21:27

was Mediterranean shrimp and quinoa

21:29

bowl. Anyway, head to factormeals.com/rtfp50

21:33

and use code rtfp50

21:35

to get 50% off

21:37

your first box plus 20% off

21:39

your next month. That's

21:42

code rtfp50 at

21:45

factormeals.com/rtfp50 to

21:48

get 50% off your first box plus

21:50

20% off your next month

21:53

while your subscription is

21:55

active. Obviously, when

21:58

you are washing down. Those

22:01

meals, those factory meals, you need

22:03

something equally delicious to watch

22:05

down. It's Lebab Blue Light. It has

22:07

always been Lebab Blue Light. It will always be

22:09

Lebab Blue Light. Drink it

22:12

with your friends while you're watching

22:14

NHL playoffs, NBA playoffs, always new

22:16

irresponsibly, beer, Lebat USA,

22:19

Buffalo, New York. All

22:22

right, Ross, as

22:24

you mentioned in the intro, there was a big

22:26

debate that erupted yesterday on social media regarding playing

22:28

in the NFL versus the NBA. So we need

22:30

you to chime in on this one. Right,

22:33

and it's funny because I just mentioned Lebat, but

22:36

I'm going to make this my Lebat take of

22:38

the week, presented by Lebab Blue

22:40

Light, the pristine Canadian Pilsner. Enjoy

22:42

your beers together so you can live life

22:44

to the power of we. Always

22:47

enjoy responsibly beer, Lebat

22:49

USA, Buffalo, New York. I

22:52

would say in general, I

22:55

think the NBA has the best athletes in the

22:57

world. And I do think

22:59

there's more NBA players that if

23:01

they trained to be football players,

23:04

could make the NFL, right? I

23:07

don't think there's

23:09

very many NFL

23:11

players that they trained to play, to be in

23:14

the NBA, that they would be able to do

23:16

that. So I think Austin Rivers is right in

23:18

that regard. However, this

23:21

idea that NBA

23:24

players, 30 of them, he could just take them and

23:26

put them in the NFL right now? Absolutely

23:29

not. First of all, way

23:32

more complicated than

23:34

Austin realizes. Secondly,

23:36

without having any of the technique or the training,

23:39

those guys wouldn't even get off the line

23:41

of scrimmage. I think there's guards and forwards

23:44

that could be receivers, DBs, tight ends. We've

23:46

seen that, Antonio Gates, Jimmy Graham, but

23:49

it would take some time. Patrick

23:51

Sertan would lock those guys down at the

23:53

line of scrimmage. It would take some time.

23:55

So Austin Rivers was right, but

23:57

he was also very, very wrong. In

24:01

other news, the Patriots are struggling to satisfy

24:03

the requirements for the Rooney Rule for General

24:06

Manager. A handful of candidates have declined interviews

24:08

before Brandon Hunt from Philadelphia Eagles. He was

24:10

the first one to accept. Right,

24:12

because everybody believes that it's going to

24:14

be Elliot Wolf and that this is

24:16

kind of a sham interview process and

24:19

so they didn't want to be a part of

24:21

it, but Brandon Hunt wants the experience. I will

24:23

never fault a guy for taking one of these

24:25

interviews, ever. Titans,

24:27

they signed wire receiver Tyler Boyd essentially

24:30

moving on from former wide receiver, former

24:32

first round pick Traylor-Bergs. So

24:34

bad, so bad man. I

24:36

mean, they traded A.J. Brown

24:39

and more or less replaced him

24:41

with Traylor-Bergs and now they're

24:44

in a situation where they

24:47

already have three other receivers so Traylor-Bergs is

24:49

as good as gone. That

24:52

was an awful, awful trade for them. I

24:54

mean really bad. Tyler Boyd's a good signing.

24:56

I'll say this too about the Patriots. They

24:59

didn't interview anybody else and just hired Gerard

25:02

Mayo. People think it's

25:04

a sham interview process for the GM. A

25:06

lot of weird things going on in New

25:08

England right now. Tyron Matthew tomorrow. I think

25:10

we're done here. Shout

25:31

too late. I
