During a time of meditation thoughts come and thoughts go. If a troubling thought presents itself what are you to do? It often seems the troubling thought is the most persistent thought. First, give this troubling thought your attention. As you observe your thought, you’re troubling thought, your energy of observation is released toward the thought. Observe the words, visualize the thought, but do not hold it. Let it move, feel the thought, do you recognize the fear and the anger? Keep observing, keep feeling ,keep breathing. Let your relaxed state influence your thought. Your peaceful, quiet energy originating in love will ultimately transform your fearful thought making it just a thought with no emotional attachment. When the thought passes you will resume observing your breath. Such focused attention keeps our energy in a very good place. The brain is quiet and in a theta brainwave. From here we are re-programming the old fearful, anxious, thought to just a benign thought never to present attached to past emotions. It is re-programmed by divine love.
