Salsafuntherapy hosts their first party at their new venue – The Academy Bar, Union of Students, University of Derby, Kedleston Road, Derby DE22 1GB. This prestigious Salsa monthly jamboree is moving home from Willington to a modern, secured and bigger facilities in Derby. The main dance hall consists of a large sprung wooden dance floor that can accommodate 500+ dancers. The hall also has a massive balcony area for people to chill-out and relax with a beautiful view of the dancers and proceedings on the dance floor. There is also a separate area for Kizomberos – made up of an expansive open plan area plus coffee/tea corner for people to network and enjoy the atmosphere. The new venue also has a huge, secured and free car park facilities. In case you decide to have one or two drinks, you can leave your car in the car park and pick it up the following day. The Bar service is excellent with a fully licensed bar service throughout the party duration. Together, with the new party format with a fantastic line-up of great artists and DJs scheduled to perform at The Academy, we hope to enhance your salsa dancing experience. On the decks are DJ Hughie, DJ Gordo Magico and Francis in the main Salsa room. Our guest Kizomba Teacher is DJ Eudora Okoro-Andrew from Kizomba Merseyside.
