Why Sam & Jon? Why not Jon & Sam? Well you see, there's an unwritten rule in English that dictates the order of similar words with different vowel sounds. Tick-tock and click-clack sound fine, but flop-flip and pong-ping make you sound like the sort of person who thinks Comic Sans is an appropriate font for a funeral announcement. The order must go I-A-O. Bingo-Bango-Bongo. If putting Sam before Jon makes our show sound ever so slightly more subconsciously appealing, it's what we'll do. (Or at least all of that is what I told Jon to trick him into putting my name first haha the fool)
