So, this part is a bit dark and I apologize for that. I should’ve made it clear in the beginning that I’m discussing my great aunt (grand aunt?) Beatrice. I indirectly found this story in the midst of trying to discover who my grandma’s parents were. Anyways, this is the most surprising bit of research I’ve found so far and I felt it was worth sharing not only to keep Beatrice’s memory alive, but also because I needed to express the surprise and emotional wave I have from finding a story about my family via a 1960s Jet publication.
