What's going on now, sir? A bitch is about 6'9", I don't know. Do
2:04
you see him now, sir? Yes, I'm looking right at him. Uh oh. Greetings
2:07
from Alaska. I'm going to
2:09
share with you today the
2:11
experience, the two relatives that
2:13
were with me on the riverbank
2:19
with the out-hooting and
2:21
we abandoned camp and they found some of
2:23
the fire logs out in the river. That
2:26
same year, less than a month later, from
2:29
that experience, we'll call them Penelope
2:32
and Jasmine. That's not their
2:34
real names but close enough. Penelope
2:37
and Jasmine were going gold prospecting
2:39
by Harris Creek which is north
2:41
of Kaliganick. It's just above where
2:44
the cut off for the Neocup River where
2:46
they come together there. They
2:48
take off, they get up there and there's this
2:50
big gravel bar right there in the middle of
2:52
the river. It's got this huge tree
2:54
stump. And it's antiquated.
2:57
I don't know how long that tree stump has
2:59
been stuck on that particular gravel bar but it
3:01
breaks the channel up into two and it goes
3:03
right around the gravel bar and it's a really
3:05
deep channel. If you're facing north,
3:08
deep channel, high bank to
3:10
your left, tree's stuck in front
3:12
of you on this gravel bar, lower bank to your
3:14
right with a lot of trees that wrap back around
3:17
the bend. A little further down
3:19
on the left is the mouth of
3:21
the Neocup River and a spit that
3:23
a little bit of a point
3:26
from where it diverges or converges
3:28
I should say. They get there
3:30
and they get set up and as they're
3:32
getting set up, they heard weird noises but
3:35
they put nothing to it. Just they
3:37
were in the deep woods is probably
3:39
just some loose growing or something they
3:41
just never came across. They
3:43
do that thing, they set up the tent and
3:45
they set it just behind that big tree stump
3:48
to block the breeze that comes down the river. They're
3:51
set up and they're comfortable. They got a limited amount
3:53
of firewood but they only planned on camping on the
3:55
gravel bar just that one night and they were going
3:57
to continue up to Harris Creek. they're
4:00
doing their thing, Jasmine's tired, goes
4:02
to sleep, Penelope stays up,
4:05
10 in the fire, sipping some cold
4:07
ones enjoying the beautiful scenery. And
4:09
in that time of year, it's roughly
4:12
a 12-12 light cycle, 12 hours of
4:14
darkness, 12 hours of light. It hasn't
4:16
gone into the wee hours of winter
4:18
where we get three, four hours of
4:20
actual sun on the horizon kind of
4:22
light. He's doing his thing, little
4:25
fires popping and crackling away and it
4:28
keeps getting this eerie feeling like he's just
4:30
something like he's being watched. Grabs
4:32
his spotlight, firearms still in
4:34
his case inside the tent, they were on
4:37
a sandbar they felt safe from any intrusions
4:39
they felt it would be alright. So
4:41
he just grabs the spotlight and
4:43
it goes around the whole little gravel bar there just
4:46
beaming off into the trees trying to figure out why
4:48
he's getting this eerie feeling. He gets
4:50
to the front side of the stump facing north towards
4:52
Harris Creek in terms of beam on. He
4:55
sees five sets of eye shine, three
4:57
smaller ones, two taller ones. The three
4:59
smaller eye shines were bright vivid white
5:02
and the two taller ones were a amber
5:04
red. And immediately he's, what the hell
5:07
is that? And it was more
5:09
curiosity for Penelope because Penelope is checking
5:11
his glasses and he's just trying
5:13
to put together what he's seeing.
5:15
It seems so out of place to have
5:18
that kind of thing happening and so he chalked
5:20
it up initially to just somewhere that it must
5:22
be someone hung some reflectors of some kind up
5:24
there and it's just in a weird pattern
5:27
I'll be able to make it out tomorrow. I liked
5:29
it at that because it didn't move, none of that
5:31
stuff. And he still has this
5:33
eerie feeling what he was able to compartmentalize
5:35
eye shine into something to worry about but
5:37
what's funny is subconsciously he knew something was
5:39
off. I only laughed because Penelope
5:42
gave me so much crap before this experience for
5:44
him. I'll leave it along and just tease him
5:46
what the name changed. Penelope starts
5:48
beaming again, just keeps feeling like he's
5:50
being watched. Beams again
5:53
and he's circling back the other direction
5:55
this time and when he swings the light
5:57
over to where the new cut meets the
5:59
new... Jack River there at that little point.
6:02
He thought he saw what looked like a
6:04
big guy in a fur jacket jumped
6:07
into the trees, but he heard nothing. This
6:09
thing, that's weird. He's still
6:11
in a little bit of a self-denial.
6:13
It's like things aren't
6:15
making sense, but internally, his
6:17
mind is danger. So he
6:20
takes the gun out. And he
6:23
said he felt like he was on autopilot.
6:25
Everything was surreal. It sounded like a weird
6:27
noise happening, but he couldn't really make it
6:29
out like a whining of
6:31
a saw way off in the distance, but
6:33
that's the best thing he could equate it
6:35
to. He said it probably wasn't a saw.
6:38
So he gets his rifle out, has it
6:40
loaded, has it ready, stokes the fire
6:42
a little bit and continues drinking some cold beers.
6:45
Now, he continues spotlighting, didn't
6:47
see anything else. Other eye
6:49
shine wasn't there. And so
6:51
he calms down and he sits and he's
6:53
just trying to piece together what he saw
6:56
and if he actually saw it. Because let's
6:58
be honest, if we were out there and
7:00
we saw five sets of eye showing, wouldn't
7:02
your first response be, what the hell am
7:04
I looking at? And did I
7:07
really see that? He's going over everything
7:09
in his mind. And he said, as
7:11
he's doing that, he's facing north towards
7:13
Harris Creek with the fire
7:16
right in front of them, a little offset spotlight
7:18
next to him, the rifle ending up on his
7:20
leg, because he was sitting on a tree
7:22
stump, a small round.
7:25
And out of the corner of his left
7:27
eye, he sees this big thing moving on
7:29
the riverbank adjacent to a parallel and then
7:32
moving up towards Harris Creek. And he throws
7:34
up, he grabs the spotlight out of
7:36
the corner of his eye and he beams and this
7:38
thing gets beam throwing away from him. So he didn't
7:41
see its face. But he
7:43
said it was tall man like long
7:45
arms. It wasn't pitch black,
7:47
but it was very dark in color. And
7:50
it was obviously not a man. It
7:52
was way, way too big to be
7:54
some man and way too
7:56
big to be a suit to be moving that fluidly.
7:58
Still, he wasn't... reactionary. It was more
8:01
what the hell you do with that. So it
8:03
just moves on into the darkness. He stopped beaming
8:05
it just ahead in the sand type of thing.
8:08
He goes, no, this ain't right. So he wakes
8:10
up Jasmine. Jasmine's not happy.
8:12
His feathers were ruffled
8:15
to be interrupted by foolishness until
8:18
he came outside. Finally came
8:20
out after arguing back and forth and
8:22
Penelope was serious hey, get your
8:24
butt out here. Come see this
8:26
stuff for yourself. I need a witness basically. And
8:29
that's what it boils down to because he felt if
8:31
he didn't get Jasmine to come see this stuff going
8:34
on with him, no one would believe him.
8:36
And hey, fair enough. That's how it goes. So
8:40
finally coaxes Jasmine out of the tent and
8:42
demands Jasmine bring his rifle. So Jasmine, calling
8:44
out with his rifle and saying man, there
8:46
better be a bear ready to charge us
8:49
for getting me out of this damn tent.
8:51
Tired because they've been on the river a
8:53
couple days. It takes a while to get
8:55
way up there like that. So
8:58
they're going back and forth and he's explaining
9:00
what he saw and Jasmine is dismissing it
9:02
and then Penelope's, I know Rick
9:04
I saw dude. Listen what I'm telling you and
9:06
the Eagles listen to that and Jasmine
9:09
catches on with that. I mean buzzing sound
9:11
off in the distance and
9:13
those are both literally listening to the
9:15
air not really looking in any particular
9:17
direction from the direction
9:19
of Harris Creek just north of
9:21
them. They hear the loudest blood
9:23
curdling scream that they've ever heard and it
9:26
snapped them out of their little
9:29
trance argument stuff. Survival
9:31
mode instantly kicks in. He
9:33
said once Jasmine came out,
9:35
he was standing and holding his rifle
9:38
and somehow his rifle ended
9:40
up right near the edge
9:42
of the water because when they were
9:44
startled, stuff flung when they
9:46
were jolted with that scream. That's how
9:49
loud it was. That's how forceful this
9:51
scream was. He immediately grabs
9:53
his rifle again. He's checking it and they get
9:55
the spotlight and they've been in the direction that
9:58
they heard the scream come from. They want to know what
10:00
the hell is in it. So they beam
10:03
and when they beam, they see three
10:05
sets of eye shine. Two
10:07
bigger red eye shines, one smaller white
10:09
set eye shine and they kill
10:12
the light real quick because once they, this time when
10:14
they beamed it, there was movement. They
10:16
killed it. We don't want to attract that, whatever the
10:18
hell it is because they couldn't make it out. They could just make
10:20
out the eye shine at that distance. They
10:22
sit down the spotlight and they're talking amongst each
10:25
other. Maybe we should drip down river a little
10:27
ways, anchor out what we did the year before
10:29
with the out hooting start earlier that year with
10:31
the out hooting. And
10:34
they're discussing that because we didn't see anything
10:36
at that point and this time they
10:38
actually see these things and they're not necessarily
10:40
trying to hide. They did a
10:42
little movement but they both recognized
10:45
it's not right. So they start
10:48
talking, reliving what happened a few weeks before
10:50
with me in the skiff when we had
10:52
to ditch that that camping spot with the
10:54
big bonfire. And as they're
10:56
discussing reliving that moment, they
10:58
hear another scream come in the same direction but it's
11:00
a little closer. So immediately, they
11:03
snap out of their debate. So
11:05
they beam it. They beam up
11:07
towards Harris Creek again and now
11:09
there's the three, they saw the two
11:11
bigger red eye shines, the smaller set
11:13
of white eye shine. They saw
11:15
two more red eye shines even taller
11:18
than the ones and
11:20
three or four other white eye shines.
11:22
They started panicking because of the noise
11:24
and eye shine. So there's something living
11:27
and there's something very loud over
11:29
there. They already know it's a hairy man but
11:32
they're trying to figure out how
11:34
this is happening. They decide they're going
11:36
to roll with punches. Nothing's
11:38
happened. We'll stay here on this
11:40
gravel bar. Now it's only
11:43
20 feet to the taller riverbank, probably
11:46
30 on this side to
11:48
the other side of the riverbank. Deep
11:50
channel between that and the high bank to their
11:52
left and that goes towards the north towards Harris
11:54
Creek side of it. They got their
11:57
game plan. They're going to forget about
11:59
it. don't want nothing to do with it,
12:01
they're gonna forget about it, nothing's happened,
12:03
they're safe and as they're discussing how
12:05
they're safe, they get this
12:08
cadence of something dropping
12:10
in the water, something like little pebbles
12:12
getting dropped in the water and it's
12:14
happening at such a rate that
12:16
they can't ignore it. At first,
12:19
they figured it was a little fish jump or something. You've ever
12:21
been on lake and a little fish, it's
12:23
similar to that, the sound. That starts happening
12:25
and then the cadence speeds up a little
12:27
bit and it's coming from behind them and
12:29
from just off in front of them and
12:31
they're thrown off by it. It's like
12:33
all of a sudden there's a new thing making noise. They
12:36
decide we can't ignore this. It's
12:39
still kept the fire. Jasmine wasn't
12:41
feeling good, genuinely and
12:43
said, hey, I'm gonna have my fire, I'm ready but I
12:46
need to lay down. So if anything
12:48
starts coming in on us, let me know for
12:50
sure and I will jump up and join you.
12:53
And Pinocchio wasn't happy with that, hey, his look
12:55
wasn't feeling good. See I go lay down. And
12:58
just as they finished that little conversation
13:00
and Jasmine's crawling into the tent, a
13:03
huge splash hits the channel between them
13:05
and the high bank to
13:07
their left. Colluge and there's a broken top
13:10
half of a birch tree, leaves
13:12
still on it. They didn't hear this thing break
13:14
and nothing. All of a sudden,
13:16
this is a colluge and Pinocchio was just
13:18
frozen watching this thing start to sink into
13:20
the river and then get drugged down by
13:22
the current. It was
13:25
just so random what a tree in
13:27
the channel. So he's trying to figure out what he just
13:29
saw. He knew it was a tree, he knew it was
13:31
a birch tree but he was trying to process
13:34
the mechanics of what just happened, why is this
13:36
happening? And immediately, the fear level
13:38
goes right back up to where he
13:41
can't not pay attention. He
13:43
resumes posted by the fire and
13:45
he's got his firearm. He's telling
13:47
Jasmine who's communicating from the tent, hey, I'm
13:50
fine, I'm just laying here, I'm ready to
13:52
move. Call her Finimi. He
13:54
goes, dude, something threw a tree in
13:57
the river next to us, something's not right. So
13:59
they talked. back and forth and he realizes that
14:02
Jasmine is genuinely not feeling good. So
14:04
he eases up on how aggressive he's
14:06
being about help me. He realizes he's
14:08
there and he'll help. So
14:11
as they're having this little discussion, corner
14:13
of his eye, he sees movement again. This
14:16
thing is pacing back and forth and not
14:19
quite getting parallel with them on the river
14:21
bank but just above them pacing
14:23
back and forth and after
14:25
it stopped pacing back and forth, it
14:27
turned and looked directly at him and
14:29
started doing this swaying thing as it
14:31
lowered and squatted itself down bringing his
14:33
elbows onto its knees and then doing
14:35
this sway thing or going back up
14:37
to standing up. He
14:39
said it was every bit of at least 12 foot tall, at
14:42
least. That was a rough
14:44
guesstimate but he said it was very big,
14:47
obviously very hulking like real
14:49
thick. So this thing squats
14:52
down, stands back up doing the same thing,
14:55
took a half step towards further down the
14:57
river bank coming towards them, not directly because
14:59
it dropped in the water but coming
15:01
down the river bank and does this little half
15:03
step, does the same thing staring right
15:05
at him. Squats all the way down, elbows
15:08
on the knees kind of thing and does the
15:10
same thing and stands back up and
15:13
that little half step does it again.
15:15
This whole time, he's just mesmerizing, what the
15:17
hell am I watching? Because
15:19
this thing is doing this when it would get
15:22
to full height, he noticed it, its eyes would
15:24
take off of him and look behind him and
15:26
then right back to him like it was really
15:28
fast but he noticed it because it was every
15:30
time it stood up. He was
15:32
like, what the hell? And he's trying
15:34
to tell Jasmine what's happening
15:36
but he's stuttering because he's awestruck
15:38
by what's happening but he
15:40
knows it's looking at something behind him. He doesn't
15:43
like that thought. So he grabs the beam, he
15:45
gets Jasmine to come out, Jasmine starts watching this
15:47
thing do it, he's still on his hands and
15:50
knees like a dog looking out the tent door
15:52
to his right now up at the
15:54
river bank at this thing doing this. Now
15:56
Grant you, there's no beam on it,
15:58
it's simple fire light. the ambient light
16:00
at that time of night. The woods still
16:02
seem pitch black but they could see this
16:04
thing doing this thing and they could see
16:06
its eyes because of the firelight. When it
16:08
would look at them, it gave off a
16:10
certain luminescence. Not its oral high beams, it
16:12
just a weird type of eye shine was
16:15
coming off of it to where it was
16:17
easy to see it was two live eyes.
16:19
It wasn't like a direct eye shine, just trying
16:22
to understand what he's getting at. So anyway, Jasmine's
16:25
Washington scene, Penelope grabs the spotlight, spotlights
16:27
it, it doesn't clench, it keeps doing
16:29
its thing. It stopped hopping or doing
16:31
this little half-step thing and doing it.
16:33
It was just standing in one place
16:35
and stand up, do the same
16:38
thing down and just kept doing that
16:40
repetitively at its own pace, its own
16:42
cadence. And so he turns around
16:44
and beams directly behind where he's noticed the
16:46
thing keeps looking once it stands up all
16:48
the way. He sees two sets
16:50
of eyeshine downriver on the opposite bank
16:53
looking back at him. So now concern
16:55
goes way up. Now what the hell do we do?
16:58
He turns around because
17:00
Jasmine's slapping his leg
17:02
because Jasmine's still on all fours looking over
17:04
to his right up at this thing
17:06
doing this stuff. And he starts slapping
17:09
Penelope's leg to get his attention because he
17:11
couldn't speak. This thing had
17:13
come further down parallel with them just
17:15
directly across the 20-foot distance or so
17:17
a little higher than them and
17:20
was just so massive standing there and
17:22
it started making this weird noise showing
17:25
its teeth and then started rocking back
17:27
and forth with that same noise down
17:30
to its knees and then back up. And
17:32
they were like, this thing is getting worked
17:34
up, it's challenging us. So immediate
17:36
concern, a very immediate
17:39
concern. They decide they're going to
17:41
take their firearms, we're going to circle
17:43
around to the backside of
17:45
that tree step and keep an eye in that direction
17:47
in case it starts throwing stuff which
17:49
is a genuine concern. They did
17:52
that directly as a result of what
17:54
happened to me the year before when that one shot
17:56
the rock at me. They immediately got
17:58
behind some kind of real instead of a
18:01
simple nylon tent. So they didn't
18:03
know its intention and how could you?
18:05
This thing's making this weird noise standing up,
18:07
squatting down, you got two sets of eyeshine
18:09
behind you, you're sitting here freaked out because
18:11
this thing is doing this but yet you
18:13
know there's other ones around. I've
18:16
been in similar situations, it is not
18:19
something you want. I hear a
18:21
lot of people say, I want to have an experience, I just
18:23
want to see when to confirm. I know they're there but
18:26
and fair enough, I get it human curiosity, you want
18:28
to know but sometimes you got
18:30
to be careful what the hell you're wishing
18:32
for because there's certain things like
18:35
the reality of what was going on for
18:37
my looks, this thing's doing this
18:39
crazy stuff, there's eyeshine, they're virtually surrounded but
18:41
yet they had a retreat, they had the
18:43
skiff right there, they had guns, nothing
18:45
drastic has happened but there's some ominous about
18:48
what this thing is doing. It goes on
18:50
for a little bit, still doing its thing
18:52
and it always would turn and be directly
18:54
facing them but he did
18:56
notice after a couple times a bit squatting down
18:58
whatever once they got behind the stump, it
19:01
was looking and not where
19:03
it was originally where he saw the two
19:05
sets of eyeshine behind them on the riverbank
19:07
but the eyeshine, he had anticipated it
19:09
was moving. So when he beamed on that
19:11
direction where he saw it looking now, sure
19:13
enough, two sets of eyeshine different
19:15
heights, they were bobbing and moving
19:18
because of the light or whatever, he couldn't really
19:20
make out full figures but it kills the
19:22
light, they're behind the stump, the one
19:24
still on the bank on the opposite side of
19:26
the stump and they're watching it move around, it's
19:28
almost like it's searching the ground looking for something
19:30
and they think, oh, it's going to grab a
19:32
rock. Jasmine's freaked out at the
19:34
thought, he goes, we can't just let it grab
19:36
a rock, shoots a shot in the
19:38
air, right? Just scares the shit
19:40
out of Penelope because Penelope wasn't expecting it.
19:43
The shot rings out, this thing takes off
19:45
into the trees, just doesn't
19:47
look back, just gone and he didn't
19:49
shoot at it, he shot. Immediately
19:52
Penelope turns, beams just the opposite side
19:54
of the riverbank and there's just some
19:56
brush moving, no eyeshine. Okay, pop
19:59
the shot in the air. of this thing took off. So
20:01
they beam up towards Harris Creek again. No
20:03
more eyeshadow. They're like, we're good. We're
20:06
good. Okay. Now we know what to
20:08
do with this pop shot. They're gone.
20:10
They felt confident in this. They
20:13
calm down. Some time pass. Jasmine gets
20:15
back to sleep. Penelope decides,
20:17
I'm going to have one more cold or I'm
20:19
good. Does this thing. He's
20:21
laying there and he's got the rifle
20:23
laid on him just because of what they
20:25
just dealt with and saw. Things
20:28
had gotten quiet. It
20:30
was just dozing off that he didn't remember how
20:32
much time it passed but it was plenty dark
20:34
by now. And he heard something
20:36
in the water, like a
20:38
gurgling water sound or something moving through the
20:41
water. He's just laying there listening going, is
20:43
that something drifting down the river and
20:45
water just lapping over it or is something
20:47
moving through the water. He
20:49
found out soon enough he felt and heard
20:51
water dripping off of this thing as it
20:54
came onto the gravel bar. So
20:56
across the channel and it's coming
20:58
up the gravel bar and it circles around the
21:00
stump and it circles around the
21:03
whole tent huffing and
21:05
it's imitating a bear huff. He
21:07
said really well but it
21:09
was too loud. It was
21:12
far too loud to actually be a bear huff
21:14
but because you're on the Salmon River, he
21:17
wanted to make sure, right? So after
21:19
this thing circled once and he heard it
21:22
going back towards the stump, he figured now's a good time
21:24
I can get out behind it and
21:26
get sight on this if it is a bear and
21:28
scare it off. So he
21:30
unzips and then he hears the
21:32
grunting stop. Whatever
21:35
it was heard the zipper and it got
21:37
quiet and couldn't hear it moving anymore. And
21:39
he goes, hey, we're armed in here. I
21:42
will shoot you. Very loud scream
21:45
echoes up and down the river. Very
21:47
loud multiple octaves freak
21:50
the hell out. The jasmine's up
21:52
right now because this thing literally
21:54
screamed less than 15 feet away from
21:57
them. Okay, they felt it
21:59
through every day. The thing. So. He
22:01
threatens issue scream happens. He
22:03
stuck. A the zippers only part
22:06
of the way of any gonna fucking get
22:08
out of there. So. In his
22:10
mind's eye he picks in nursing to snatch
22:12
and ten like you would have a role
22:14
that brown paper bag and just smashing and
22:16
against and right fleas I would have that
22:18
same thing. They're quiet. They're dead
22:20
quiet. They. Had to sing move nugget
22:22
circles around one more time. Gretna louder
22:24
this time with the gurgling If you
22:26
had a bad walking pneumonia in every
22:28
time he made had that sound to
22:30
it nice and was I'm Irving. Because
22:33
you could tell. It. Was
22:35
massive. The. Singh was massive
22:38
Dose footsteps in the ground. As
22:40
circled the second time in itself behind the tree
22:43
stump and they heard. The. Tree stump.
22:45
Moving rowing in the gravel.
22:48
And they could feel it being rocked and push cause
22:50
of the weight of it down in the ground. There
22:53
are not that far from this thing so they're
22:55
like. Existing. Gonna Smash! as
22:57
with the Trista and Penelope said
23:00
screw this. Of sips of
23:02
the test and just shoots out the door
23:04
of opposite direction as saying he's a suit
23:06
and high out the doors. To
23:08
have a brown lab or that led some bugs
23:10
around fly. Avid Cinram box mag
23:12
or whatever. And. Splashed
23:14
on there's all sorts of sound that happens
23:16
on both sides of the river at this.
23:19
So. They're both like. Voice. Chef. So
23:22
they get out. they crawl out. They
23:24
beam around there and they don't see nothing. That
23:27
happening. They felt. Very
23:29
enough. That they took
23:31
what they could. they left the tenth there.
23:34
They. Got in this gifts. And. They
23:36
use the battery life the left on that
23:38
spotlight. To. Potter. Their
23:40
butts and stay in the channel. To.
23:42
Get back down a clinic and they camped out
23:44
on the landing at Craig, an actor. And
23:47
this is not unique to me.
23:49
It's not unique to damn. Nikolai
23:52
Chris. That. Photographer several fishing
23:54
game. warns are I wish they
23:56
would come forward and speak cousins.
23:59
And. Sure, They'd some guess is much shit. It's
24:01
not more than me. A little
24:04
some about what I exactly now I
24:06
not no expert. Am. Not
24:08
a researcher, I. Am simply of
24:10
first nations. Alaska Native Dad
24:12
has had these encounters and
24:14
experiences. And. Never talked about
24:16
it until just the last couple
24:18
years in our culture. Without.
24:20
Share will. Spread. It out. At
24:23
it stays. In our community.
24:26
Is part of or oral history. When.
24:28
Are speaking on these things so nonchalantly?
24:30
It's because that's how it is out
24:32
there. In the Bush. These.
24:34
Things happen periodically. You'll
24:36
have a hairy man screen match your have
24:39
some sort of answer. As you're
24:41
walking down a mountain trail. It.
24:43
Happens all the time. But. As
24:45
never talked about. Especially in are
24:47
called certain other people that has had
24:50
Alaskan experiences that have shared elsewhere on
24:52
from Alaska I've shared it elsewhere but.
24:54
A lot of first nations, dumb. Ass
24:57
because it's not in our culture when
24:59
uncles question. Was. Matter of fact that
25:01
one I saw by manacled of trail. It
25:04
made a wouldn't knock sounds with his mouth
25:06
if it didn't bang two sticks together in
25:08
a like a tongue pop and a sound
25:10
like to Louisville Slugger Sydney each other so.
25:13
What? Do you do with that? I don't know.
25:15
By no means am I an expert. I've.
25:17
Just had circumstances have been.
25:20
On the places I baron. Night.
25:22
Give me a different outlook on it
25:24
because for us is not a matter
25:26
of proving anything that has nothing to
25:28
be proven. It is just as relevant
25:31
as most bear, Wolverine, Caribou, And
25:33
it is just as relevant. As. It's
25:36
the outside world. That
25:38
doesn't accept it. Doesn't. Accept
25:40
it because someone with the fancy piece of
25:42
paper didn't say it was in. That's are
25:44
now at Catching said I can sit there
25:46
and are Ivy league school that less than
25:48
two hundred years old. And. Try
25:50
to dictate some. That has
25:52
been passed down orally. Are
25:54
tens of thousands years. To
25:56
the First nations, they dismiss it. i
25:59
was there metal it's their mythology, it's this,
26:01
it's that. You
26:04
have experienced it, a lot of non-believers
26:07
won't, they won't believe
26:09
it, understandable. But understand when
26:11
I'm speaking of these things, it's not that I
26:13
live in some fairy tale land in my head
26:15
or some bullshit like that, I'm very saying these
26:18
things are happening constantly in
26:20
a remote village. And when I say
26:22
constantly, I don't mean every time someone goes outside, I'm
26:25
saying it happens with such relative
26:28
frequency, there's why report it.
26:31
You leave the village sending screams at you, you
26:33
make it home, that's daily life, not
26:36
literally every day but that's part of life
26:38
in the remote Alaska, weird stuff all the
26:40
time. You know how many
26:43
UFOs sightings have been shared with me
26:45
from just between New Studio Hawk
26:48
and Kaligaty? Literally
26:50
I already have several handfuls of just those
26:53
encounters of seeing a UFO in
26:56
these very remote places in Alaska. There's
26:59
so much going on that
27:01
we have no clue. Understand I'm
27:03
not trying to sound like I'm some authoritative voice and
27:05
I know all this stuff. What
27:07
I'm sharing is what I know and I don't
27:09
know squat, I'm not an expert. Seeing
27:12
their tracks several times, seeing what they
27:14
would call structures, seeing these things running,
27:17
doing all sorts of different various
27:19
things but it's by
27:21
default, it's not unique to me. There's
27:24
so many people in Kaligaty, New
27:27
Studio Hawk, back home in
27:29
Dillingham, Alaknagik, several
27:31
lodges in through the Woodchick State
27:33
Park, it just doesn't get
27:35
spoken about. So no one knows that this stuff
27:37
is going on. So when you hear
27:39
someone like me just spouting so nonchalantly about it, it
27:42
could give you the wrong idea and maybe
27:44
I know something others don't. I don't know shit.
27:47
What I do know is what I've experienced
27:49
and what I've experienced has been aggression, cunning,
27:53
the level of cunning these things have is
27:55
unreal to mock a baby to lure
27:57
someone out so what I'm getting at is I'm not an
27:59
expert. expert on anything. I am
28:02
only sharing what I've dealt with
28:04
and what others are sharing with me. If
28:07
I had come across like I'm some expert
28:09
on something, I apologize, I'm
28:12
just sharing what I know
28:15
and honestly in the big scheme of things, I
28:17
don't know Skora. I can tell
28:19
you they shake stuff, they break stuff and
28:21
they throw stuff. That's not a
28:23
wealth of knowledge, you understand? I'm
28:26
only not sure about it because I've
28:29
accepted it, I've seen it, it's just
28:31
part of what's going on out there.
28:33
It's what it is. This has been
28:35
Fred Alaskan. I appreciate your time and
28:37
your listening. What?
