I had big news this past Saturday and I was determined to celebrate this big news by seeing SUBTRONICS at Red Rocks. The day of the show a full on blizzard occurs; my friends bail, but I'm determined to celebrate! Do you feel personally victimized by the idea of going to a concert by yourself? It can be scary, it can be overwhelming, it can bring out every anxiety you can think of. But you can also fight that by doing little things to get over the fear of the crowds that anxieties the overwhelming feeling of people seeming like they're multiplying by the second and not dispersing. Going to a concert by yourself not only has a benefit of freedom and emotional benefits and practical benefits there's a plethora of things honestly. Having the ability to choose your own schedule to go to a show is something that people do not talk about enough. You can leave early and beat the traffic home or you can stay all day and all night it's really up to you and you alone. Doesn't that sound empowering? You also get the ability to connect with new people that maybe you wouldn't have in a group like setting. There's an emotional benefit by being able to fully immerse yourself in the music and the ability to reflect and connect with said emerging. there's practical benefits as well, like you're only buying drinks for yourself not for people. you get the opportunity to see more shows because you don't have to coordinate with other people doesn't that sound empowering but it was a great Cyclops rocks 2023 will be going back next year!
