We also talk about a practice maintained by ritual, and the process of getting into the art making head space. Leslie Vigeant knows how to sweat. Based in Portland, OR, she is an adjunct professor, does freelance marketing, and considers the hierarchies of social expectations in her studio practice. She received her MFA in Applied Craft + Design, Oregon College of Art and Craft / Pacific Northwest College of Art; BFA 2D Studies / Painting, University of Massachusetts Amherst. Leslie has exhibited at Winnipeg Underground Film Festival, Canada; Woodbury Art Museum, UT; AIA, San Francisco, CA; Cambridge College, MA; University of Missouri, MO;
