Rehoboam's son Abijah (Abijam) takes over Judah and does all the terrible things his father did, but in a much shorter period of time (including having 38 kids in 3 years?!). Somehow, his defiant claim to the lineage of David is enough for God to deliver Jerry's forces into his hands when the odds were stacked against him. How?
