Lives were given and lost in order to obtain and preserve these scriptures for us, which testify of Jesus Christ; The Bible, The Book of Mormon, The Doctrine & Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price. These are a strength and a treasure to me and our family. Paul teaches us that “faith comes by hearing” (Romans 10:17). So, I will read these out loud for you to "hear," liken scriptures to ourselves & add commentary to help us understand it in regular english.
