WE WILL CONTINUE this discussion with a look at ISRAEL in the Book of Revelation. BUT TODAY FASTEN YOUR TRUTH BELTS as we KICK OFF the Book of REVELATION with a WARNING TO THE CHURCH .

As we have said before, although Israel has largely not accepted Yeshua as their Messiah yet, God has used their rejection to bring Salvation to the WHOLE WORLD through the promised New Covenant.

And so once the NEW COVENANT was given through Yeshua, the WHOLE WORLD had an opportunity to come to God, not through Ordinances, but through Faith in what JESUS/YESHUA did for us that we COULD NOT DO OURSELVES through the LAW:

Eph 2:8 KJV - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:

Eph 2:9 KJV - NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.

Eph 2:10 KJV - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Eph 2:11  - Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh--who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands-- Eph 2:12 that at that time you were WITHOUT CHRIST, being aliens from the COMMONWEALTH OF ISRAEL and strangers from the COVENANTS OF PROMISE, having NO HOPE and without God in the world.

Eph 2:14  For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, Eph 2:15 - having abolished in His flesh the enmity, [that is], the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, Eph 2:16 and that He might RECONCILE THEM BOTH TO GOD IN ONE BODY THROUGH THE CROSS, thereby putting to death the enmity.

Eph 2:17  - And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.

Eph 2:18 For THROUGH HIM WE BOTH HAVE ACCESS by one Spirit to the Father.

And so we see that God’s intent is to reconcile the WHOLE WORLD to himself, of ALL THOSE WHO ARE WILLING, both Jews and Gentiles, as we have ALL FALLEN SHORT. And we should continue to PRAY for ISRAEL, and for JEWS around the World to come to faith in YESHUA, because that pleases God.

Many denominations teach that the CHURCH has REPLACED ISRAEL for the Promises, and we have shown that this is not true. They argue that the ISRAEL in the land today is there NOT IN FAITH, which Ezekiel prophesied anyway. We arrogantly forget that we can fall into the SAME TRAP Israel has, in PREFERRING TRADITION, and REJECTING the TRUTH of God’s Word.

For we are not so different, and must remember that TO THIS DAY many so-called “Christians” pride themselves in their denominations, in their Vain TRADITIONS, not even based in the Bible, and REJECT any other way.

And now we are seeing a NEW WAVE of teachings that deny the prophecies about the Tribulation Judgement, and espouse that THE CHURCH will transform the world and make it READY for Jesus to return. Friends, these are lies for those itching ears that don’t KNOW the BIBLE, and want a NEW WAY that fits THEIR VISION of Faith.

Jesus warned against getting caught up religious performance and false teachings:

Mat 15:8 'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with [their] lips, But their heart is far from Me.

Mat 15:9 And in vain do they worship Me, Teaching [as] doctrines the commandments of men.' "

And we ALL can fall prey to BOTH EXTREMES: Either OLD TRADITIONS, or a NEW more EXCITING WAY, so that we can even REJECT the teachings of the BIBLE to HANG ONTO these views.

So we shouldn’t judge The Jewish Nation for rejecting the Messiah of their New Covenant. That’s God’s job. “Let He who is without sin cast the first stone.”

Our job as Christians is to Preach the Gospel of Reconciliation to all who would hear, and to pray that God opens the hearts of those, who are just like us, who were at one time FAR AWAY from His promises, knowing that God desires to draw EVERY ONE OF US to Himself—all those whose hearts are willing, with the GOOD NEWS of His Dear Son.

KNOW the BIBLE, TRUST THE BIBLE, stop satisfying your desires for a particular BRAND of faith—don’t create your own IDOL and tell yourself, “This is my God.”

And so we are going to continue our discussion of The Time of Jacob’s Trouble, by venturing into the Book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, where we will discover that all the Old Testament Prophecies, combined with the New Testament Prophecies that we looked at in the Olivet Discourse, are REVEALED in this purely prophetic Book about the End of Time.

It is about the REVELATION of JESUS to the world. Jesus has been WARNING us through the entire Bible that JUDGEMENT WILL COME to the Whole World, and THIS IS How it will come about.

And in it we see:

• Jesus in His GLORY speak to John and SHOW him the prophecy to write • The Book BEGINS by ADDRESSING 7 actual churches from that time, each with a particular personality, and with particular apostasies he warns them about • These represent those actual churches, ALL CHURCHES of that TYPE, AND, the STAGES in the CHURCH AGE • By the 3nd of the 3rd chapter, we see that the TRUE CHURCH is apparently RAPTURED to Heaven to witness Jesus Receive His Inheritance, and open the seals of the Deed to the WORLD, which He purchased through obedience and with His own blood • Once the church is in heaven, we enjoy the Marriage supper of the lamb until the 7 years of the Tribulation are completed.
• However, Revelation also describes the Tribulation period on earth, when the Antichrist will arise to take full dominion, and those left on the earth must choose what side to stand and die on. Repent and choose the Lord, but likely suffer martyrdom.
• Then As the seals are opened, we witness the transfer of the world over to JESUS, the rightful heir, and his pouring out of the judgements called “The WRATH of the Lamb,” because He paid the price for the whole world, and they reject His gift of Eternal Life, and do great wickedness on the earth • During this time, we will see God’s focus return to Israel as He sends His TWO WITNESSES to preach the Gospel, and sends out 144,000 Jewish Evangelists who come to faith after the Rapture.
• And when the temple is rebuilt and the Antichrist is rejected by many in Israel, God protects them when they flee from the face of the “DRAGON”
• Finally Jesus will take full authority over the earth, and He will ride back to earth on his White horse, and ALL OF US will follow Him on our horses to watch Him put down the Antichrist, and destroy the Armies gathered at the Valley of Armageddon (or Har Megiddo in Hebrew--near Mt Megiddo) • Then Jesus will reign for 1,000 years with a rod of Iron over the nations who remain, and institute world peace. And we will reign with Him • He will rule from Jerusalem, and Honor those of Israel who welcomed Him back and recognize Him as their Messiah, and thereby save the remnant of His Chosen People • Then Satan will be loosed for a short time to reveal those who still wish to rebel against Jesus, and then God will throw Satan, and Death And Hell in the Lake of Fire.
• Then the White Throne Judgement God will judge all those who do not have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and they will all be cast into the Lake of Fire

But we will want to take heed from 2 CHURCHES that Jesus Addresses:

The Church of Philadelphia and the Church of the Laodicea
