Entertaining and fun. It's trope-y but in the best way. Everyone knows superhero tropes and cliches which gives them plenty of room to play around with listener expectations. Even if the delivery is a bit stiff, I enjoyed a lot of the characters: Sophia, Safety Blanket, and Invisi-dude are my favorites. It's a bit rough around the edges. The dialogue can be somewhat overwrought and the comedy leans a little to heavily on inappropriate humor. The sound production is otherwise decent. The plot is somewhat handwave-y which makes sense since it's more of a slice of life deal than heavily plot driven. The series has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to season 2.

I must’ve listened to the Season Finale of SE01 at least 6, maybe 7 times…it’s really so so good. BUT, I don’t want to give spoilers away in this particular review, so I implore you to start from Episode 1 and enjoy the story. With fascinating, wildly creative characters and razor sharp dialogue, Second Fiddles is consistently funny, but also charming & evidently, from my listening history…moreish. I’m so thrilled there’s going to be a 2nd Season, as rapped by the Crew (which makes it legally binding I think) because more and more people out there are going to fall in love with this audio drama
