During your cinematic travels, you’ll encounter unconventional films – especially the lurid, funky, and over-the-top – that truly stand out and compel you to share them with others. Grab a drink and join film curators Ann-Eliza Musoke Taylor, Michael Martz, and Tyler Martinolich every second Thursday of the month for a deep dive into the glorious technicolor world of cult cinema.

I have been attending Second Screen showings intermittently for the last few years and am consistently impressed with the selections and commentary. The same things I love about the in-person events come through fully here. The hosts are very informative and provide great context and insight in their analysis and conversations. My favorite episode so far is the Midsommar (WickerSommar) breakdown. It’s not my favorite movie but still really appreciate the perspective and comparisons to other classic horror films, namely The Wicker Man, which I had the pleasure of seeing live thanks to Second Screen! Can’t wait to see what comes next.
