On today’s podcast we are joined by Emily Ford. Emily is an avid backpacker and has done multiple thru-hikes.  In this podcast Emily joins us to talk about her journey thru-hiking the Ice Age Trail this past winter. The Ice Age Trail is a 1,200 mile trail that is located fully in Wisconsin. Emily talks a little bit about what thru-hiking is. She explains some of the challenges she encountered, and how she overcame those. We also talk about the gear Emily used. And what she did to prepare herself for the adventure.
