This episode is based on the message entitled “The Credit Card” from the “First Things First” series at First Avenue Christian Assembly in Chilliwack, British Columbia.

-Whether you are a leader of others or a leader of yourself, we are to set an example to all in our how we conduct ourselves.
-The struggle within is that we need to balance our “personal” worship with God and our “positional” worship as a leader.
-“Leading” worship always needs to begin with putting ourselves in a “personal” position to choose to worship God.
-Worshipping God (as a person or in your position) always needs to be authentic and genuine.
-Worship is not about responding to WHAT is happening around us. Worship is about responding to WHO God is.
-When you choose to lead others, in whatever capacity, you are taking on the responsibility of giving them the example on how to live their lives; regardless of the area - worship included.
-The word for praise in Hebrew “yad-ah” is the same for the word for “confess”.
Praising is a “confession” of our faith in God.
Ask yourself: What stops you from giving God “praise”?
Ask yourself: Who is currently looking to you to be their example of godly living? How well are you showing them how to follow Christ in all aspects of your life?
