This week, another NYC based lunatic, this time, Joel David Rifkin. Active between 1989 and 1993 and believed to have taken 17 victims. 

An adopted child, he was a socially awkward kid, unpopular with classmates, and was a withdrawn person, living with his mother up until his arrest. His victims of choice were prostitutes that he picked up in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

He had a knack for dismemberment, and dispersing body parts all over the place. NASTY…He was arrested after a short car chase, because he failed to notice he was missing his licence plate on his pick up truck, the officer detecting a foul smell coming from the back of the truck….. End of the road for Joel. 207 years in prison. Good riddance.
