This is a special episode of "Senator Hawk Talk," as Tom brings in a colleague from the House of Representatives, Dave Baker, of the 68th District, which includes Chase, Geary, and Morris counties, as well as the city of Herington. 

Tom and Dave discuss the efforts to date of the 2022 legislative session, with a particular interest in food sales tax, property taxes, housing, redistricting, and gambling.  It's a delightful discussion that also shows how legislators can collaborate and develop working relationships while representing different parties and backgrounds.
