Marking an Australian first for a television series, Televised Revolution is proudly delivering a special run of podcasts to engage with the second series of beloved cult favourite Danger 5 when it launches this Sunday night on SBS2.

Every Sunday night, following the broadcast of the show, fans of Danger 5 can download an episode of ‘Sensible Chuckle: The Danger 5 Interviews’. Each episode will feature an in-depth conversation with actors, producers, writers, or the series director, providing a greater understanding of how the show is produced, what the heck happened to Pierre, and the science that links cocktails to time-travel.

Think of the podcasts as being a bit like director commentaries.

These podcasts will not be provided as part of the Televised Revolution podcast feed (but please, do subscribe. We think you’ll like our weekly examination of all things TV and televisual). Podcast feeds for iTunes, Android, and all other platforms will be active before the first episode is posted on Sunday night at 10pm Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time.

This weeks first guest is show co-creator and series star David “Jackson” Ashby.

Danger 5 returns on SBS2 Sunday nights at 9:30pm from 04 January 2014. A marathon of all of season one will air on SBS2 on Saturday 03 January. US viewers can still catch season one on Hulu. A US season two release date is still TBA.
