Set Ball; The Powerchair Podcast explores all things powerchair football.
Presented by Chair of the Wheelchair Football Association (WFA) Dave Lewis and football novice Siobhán Stevenson, this podcast is for anyone interested to learn more about powerchair football.
In this final episode of the series we meet one of the newest teams in the powerchair football league in England. We speak to Player/Coach of Teeside PFC Owen Swift and Young Player of the Year Tyler Reeve.
Both Owen and Tyler tell us how they got involved in the game, the clubs they played for and how they came to join Teeside. They discuss how the club has developed and their aspirations for when they get back to training. They also talk about the challenges of lockdown but how they are now looking forward and analysing their games with the team so they are ready for a return to the game they love.
We play the final game in the series of 2v1 and the boys take on the final challenge hoping they can knock West Bromwich Albion off the leader board?
We say a final series thanks to all the players, coaches and hidden heroes of powerchair football and promise to be back with series 2!
