A live recording of CULTURE&SOUND, a pre-Notting Hill Carnival event produced by the founders of Jamii and SevenSix Agency, and in partnership with BACARDÍ®.
Notting Hill Carnival is one of the most significant events in Black British culture and the British calendar as a whole. Starting in 1966 as a celebration of Caribbean culture in all its beauty, it’s about coming together, enjoying good music, good food, good vibes, good people.
The panel was hosted by the incredible DJ Melody Kane (Radio 1 Xtra) and consisted of Rampage Sound, Linett Kamala (artist & Notting Hill Carnival trustee) and Ansel Wong (director of Notting Hill Carnival Limited). Our guests discussed the cultural importance NHC has not only on British Caribbean’s, but London as a whole.
