Carrie from, Sip and Shine Podcast and Moms On The Rocks Podcast, joins me as we recap the Lifetime Movie, Escaping the Madhouse, The Nellie Bly Story. Loosely based on the story of journalist, Nellie Bly, we didn't love the movie, but we had a lot of fun recapping it! Nellie Bly fakes her way into a mental institution in order to expose the terrible conditions these women lived in. She runs into all kinds of problems: amnesia, ice-cold baths, and a psychiatrist who is meant to help her, but ultimately seeks to control her. Does she make it out??
