Town & Village, the first two episodes of ShareLoc, explore two emblematic stories, at the edge of different worlds. They also convey people’s ability to adapt to the Indonesian and global socio-economic transformations, the perception of social, professional and environmental inequality, and the urgency to build a secure and stable future.

Town & Village, available in Italian and English, is the result of a collaboration between Giacomo Tabacco, who conducted the original research in Indonesia, collected the stories of Galih and Raka, and conceived the project, and Paolo Righi, who edited and produced the episodes for NWFactory.

The European project "Competing Regional Integrations in Southeast Asia" (CRISEA) funded the original research.
