At 21 years old it happened to Candace Carnahan. After a devastating workplace incident resulting in the loss of her leg, Candace started on the path of becoming a safety advocate.

Now she has shared her story with more than half a million people, from corporate offices to manufacturing and production environments. Candace believes that the best way for companies to maintain or improve their safety culture is through stories. In her own words “sharing stories, saving lives”.

Through storytelling, Candace inspires teams to find their voice, and to look at everyday decisions as directly related to the potential impact on workers and their families.

Candace will be joined by like-minded guests who have also overcome workplace injuries to share their insights, tell their story and inspire listeners to think differently about workplace safety.
