This week Patsy is here to interview prolific author Anthony McGowan and discuss his newest book, Dogs of the Deadlands! This is based on the true story of the animals left behind after the Chernobyl disaster in 1986, and told partially from the point of view of those very animals! It's a fascinating journey through the lives of these former household pets that were left behind by their families because they were told that they could come back in about three days to retrieve them, though little did they know that they would never be allowed to go back. Be prepared with some tissues, though, because this is an emotional journey that will take you through some joyous and heartbreaking events. All this and more on this week's episode!
