In this episode Katie gets vulnerable and discusses her diagnosis of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and the different ways it has impacted her personally. P.C.O.S. is a surprisingly common issue affecting 1 in 10 women, yet seldom talked about due to embarrassment, negative stereotypes, or social stigma surrounding it. It is an often undiagnosed health issue. The more frequently and openly P.C.O.S. is discussed, the higher the chance of women getting help and being correctly diagnosed.
