Lets talk about Vlogging gear. In this video we are going to go over the 3 different cameras I use for vlogging and specifically which ones I use for what.

I didn't start off with that camera,
I actually started off vlogging with my iPhone. The iPhone is great when you are starting out its always with you and the iPhones now days shoot in 4k. I still use my iPhone today for a couple different things. I use it when I don't have my vlog camera with me, for time-lapse videos and for slow motion videos. The biggest draw backs to using the iPhone is the dynamic range of the camera and the audio with the phone.
I actually switched from the iPhone to the Cannon G7X Mark ii first which was great for vlogging but... It doesn't have an audio input jack on the camera still resulting in not so great audio. I came up with a work around for the audio by using the Zoom H1n. Which has great audio out put, but then you have 2 separate files that you have to stitch together every time you edit a video. Which editing already takes a TON of time so anything to cut down on editing time is amazing! https://amzn.to/3dLccBj

My newest edition to my vlogging gear is the DJI Mavic Mini 2! The Mini 2 is a great drone to have if you are traveling and are limited on space or just need something simple to get those establishing shots in your videos. The mini 2 has several features that make it great. Droney, which the drone zooms away from you, the Circle fly where it flies around a point that you select on the screen, and the fly in a path mode where you can outline a path for the drone to fly in.
