Alex Garber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with young adults who are committed to stepping out of what holds them back and into their personal power. She uses holistic modalities to support her clients in achieving greater alignment with themselves, often centering on depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues (with significant others, self-and/or dysfunctional family members) and life changes. Alex identifies within the LGBTQ+ community and provides affirming care and is often known as being “no BS”
with her clients- challenging them to be honest with themselves and holding them accountable to meeting their goals.

Alex is certified and trained in a mind-body technique called Neuro Emotional Technique, which uses muscle testing and acupressure to discover where in the body we store stress and trauma, and subsequently how to release it. This helps us to work through the feelings of being “stuck” and is great for individuals who struggle with physiological symptoms such as poor sleep, poor digestive health, memory loss, chronic disassociation as well as other psychological pain such as struggling to connect to others, insecure attachment styles, pervasive and chronic worry,
anxiety, sadness or anger and an overall lack of improvement of mental health symptoms despite efforts otherwise.
