This is a great science podcast. It's length is about perfect, especially for a daily podcast. Just long enough for a short car ride or one part of a workout, for example. And the tone is delightful: Maddie and Emily both approach science stories with delight and wonder, plus a sense of play and humor. This is a favorite part of my weekdays.

Great podcast that makes science accessible and fun. Topics are quite varied and there's always a bit of humor thrown in to keep it light while still being accurate and factual.

little bits on facts every weekday , very good for my 10 minute walk to work

The PERFECT guest for your morning commute or at the breakfast table, each episode gives just enough info on some new scientific topic to whet your appetite, but leaves you plenty of room and resources to go looking for more if you just need to know more in-depth. It's gotta be tough balancing accessible language with thorough coverage, but Maddie (and occasional interim hosts) do a great job.

I think this a really good podcast they make science sound very interesting and fun. The way they get all the facts about things you need to know in a short amount of time is good cause you can listen while you do something quick. They also make you understand what is happening and give you database of it.

Fantastic every episode. Dense and explained well subject matters. The host and reporter have great rapport, I like them.

2. I absolutely loved the episodes of Short Wave that I chose to listen to. In my opinion, the show is just right for so many reasons. I love that the hosts go straight into the topic of the day, and weigh-in on the topic with humor and facts. I love science, and if you do too, then this podcast is a great one to check out. It draws you in very fast, but it also wraps up the discussion in a timely matter, covering all bases in less than 15 minutes! Great work!

A great choice for when you're in the mood to listen to Radiolab but don't have that kind of time, Short Wave has episodes less than 15min long on tons of engaging topics.
