In this week’s episode we officially welcome Jason Snow as a full-time member of the Shut Up and Dad crew! Our guess this week is Josh Brennan of The Changing Perspectives podcast, a show that he co-hosts with his high-school sweetheart turned wife. Their podcast is a show that is equal parts education and entertainment, which touches on a variety of different subjects that are important to us all. Josh shares his perspective on the age at which a child should get their first phone, a subject that Chris recently had to navigate. Along with the appropriate age, he also recommends an app called Life360 that he uses, not only to track his children’s location, but also the amount of charge that their devices have! How did a Midwestern Snow think Narragansett was pronounced? Is Josh able to properly pronounce the city name of Charlotte, Michigan? Hilarity ensues as the Midwestern Shut Up and Dad hosts and East Coast Josh discuss beer brands, city names, and other words that are not pronounced the way one would think. Lastly find out how a theater/band kid, who quit playing sports when he was in middle school, turned into the multi-sport coach of his kids’ baseball and football teams. Tim, Chris, and Jim find kindred spirits in Josh in his musical and theater past, while Snow finds kinship with Josh in their coaching experience.
