This episode described parenting styles from the lens of islander parents' perspectives. This episode opens communication about "Gentle Parenting" and the way it is introduced to an islander.  As providers in the human services field, when having conversations in the community with our clients, especially islanders. We should be culturally competent when suggesting certain styles to our clients.
