Welcome to Episode 1 of It's Just History titled "Blood in the River." This series is an exploration of American History through an unbiased lens at which point I will introduce my bias into the people, places, events, and time periods in which I think deserve a bit more of our attention. This episode is focused on the colonization of Jamestown, Virginia beginning in 1564 and stops just shy of the Revolutionary War in 1775.
