Episode SummaryIn this podcast Perry answers REAL questions that you've submitted to perrynoble.com/ask about singleness, sex and dating! In this month's episode, Perry answers the following questions:"Pastor P, I am 20 years old and have never had a girlfriend. This has caused me to believe I'm single because I'm ugly, weird, awkward, etc. and that no girl would ever want anything to do with me. How can I overcome these insecurities and gain confidence?" -Cameron"Kind of similar to your story with Lucretia, I'm currently pursuing a girl who's in an intense med school program for the next two years. We've known each other a long time but recently reconnected. We're still in communication as friends but the romantic side is kinda on the shelf. If I sincerely believe she's wife material and is worth the wait to me, should I just continue to invest in our friendship and wait for a time closer to when she's finished to talk about taking the relationship to the next level? Or am I just delaying the inevitable and just go for a bold move now and try to get closure?" -Christian"Pastor P. I want to date my best friends ex-girlfriend. I can see a great future with this girl, but I don't want to ruin a friendship that is so vital in my life. We are also accountability partners so naturally he would be somewhat involved in the relationship." -Drew"What are realistic expectations for sex in marriage?" -John "An introvert and an extrovert are dating. The introvert has a few friends, and barely hangs out with them. While the extrovert has many friends, and hangs out with them all the time. So my question is, should the extrovert and this type of introvert be dating?" -Elizabeth"My fiance's parents are non-believers and have a rocky, at times volatile marriage. This created an unstable and stressful childhood for my fiance. I love my fiance and I am angry at his parents for the ways their behavior gave him emotional scars and continues to cause stress in his life. How can I forgive and love my future in-laws?" -Emily"Do you think a (potential) husband and wife have to have similar salaries to be compatible? What if the woman has a far better paying job or a higher level of education? What do you think about stay at home dads?" -Ellie"I'm considering joining the military after college with the intention of going into combat. I don't want to have kids or be married while I am serving. I am currently single but how should I handle dating before I join? Should I not date or if I do meet someone should I just be very clear that the military is a real possibility for me and when should I bring that up?" -Ryan Episode ResourcesPerry is writing a book on being single, relationships and dating scheduled to release later in 2016 and he would LOVE to know what questions you have as a single person, or wish you would've asked before you got married.
