Sir Ian McKellen discusses his portrayal of one of British literature’s most iconic characters at the Apple Store, Regent Street in London. Mr Holmes sees a retired and cantankerous Sherlock Holmes divert his attention to an unsolved case, only to find the mystery deepen as he tries desperately to recall the events of 30 years ago that ultimately led to his retirement.
