This is the latest in a series of podcasts recorded at Site Gallery's regular Site Sessions events. Site Sessions are monthly interdisciplinary gatherings, generally occurring on the last Thursday of the month. The current series explores the links between magic and technology.

The theme of this one, recorded on Thursday 25th of October, 2018, is magic and creativity. Hosted by Site Gallery's Digital Curator Leila Johnston, it features Sheffield-based Bizarre Magic practitioner Ashton Carter, and Manchester-based improv impresario Jade Fearnley.

This Halloween episode opens with a chat with Jade and Ashton about their intersecting interests, the value of improvisation in creativity, and their plans for the 'augmented seance'.

You'll then hear some extracts from the public event, as participants open up and begin to take on the personalities of characters from old Sheffield.
