We kick things off with a "stabby book" update from O'Dell (he is enjoying "Home Before Dark" by Riley Sager). Erin feels we need a stabby book club. Maybe?
Our virtual true crime road trip continues, and O'Dell kicks off this episode with the story of the disappearance of Steven Koecher, a devout Mormon man whose abandoned car was found in a retirement community in Henderson, NV in 2009. Eleven years later, Steven is still missing. There are many theories, but very few answers.
Erin is in Virginia and tells the story of transgender woman, Sage Smith who went missing after leaving for a date in 2012. She said goodbye to her roommate, and was spotted by her step sister the night of the date, but no one has seen her since. Two of the suspects are also missing. The case was reclassified as a possible homicide in 2020, but there are still no answers as to what actually happened.
To close things out, Erin gives an update on 14-year-old Aiden Fucci who has been accused of stabbing 13-year-old Tristyn Bailey 114 times. O'Dell then provides an in memoriam about two 21-year-olds who died after falling from the roof of an office building while having "relations".
