Madison Packer, the Captain of the Metropolitan Riveters, is the second-LONGEST tenured player in the NWHL, and has really seen it all within the league. We sit down with Madison to talk about her storied career with theRivs, the Wisconsin Badgers, and how she got to be such an incredible advocate off the ice as well. In addition, we obviously have to talk about the Riveters' season right?! The Rivs are in a tough situation though - they were the first to face a COVID-19 shutdown in Lake Placid, and were only able to play three games. Madison, as Captain and a leader in the league, walks us through what this was like to digest during the season pause, and how she was able to carry herself with such poise (and humor!) during the Boston weekend as a guest and a media personality.
