Buckeye Arizona started life in 1877 as Sidney.  Settler Malie Jackson named the town after his hometown of Sidney, Ohio.   Jackson also helped to build the nearby Buckeye canal, the canal was named after Ohio state tree.  In 1888 the town was renamed Buckeye.  As of now, Buckeye boasts a population of 79,620.  The town lies in Maricopa County and is surrounded by desert and mountains.  It may also be surrounded by something else,  it may be surrounded by being from somewhere else.

North of Buckeye is the town of Sedona.  With a population of 10,335, it is a small town in the middle of the desert.  It’s most noted for its many appearances in movies and television series as a backdrop for Texas and California.  However, just like Stardust Ranch in Buckeye, the Bradshaw Ranch boast it’s own paranormal activity.
