Prayers:

Prayer of Adoration

Steadfast God, we Praise You as the Eternal God, Constantly Loving us. We offer our praises to You with those of our kin throughout every time and place. We adore You as the Lord enthroned on High, whose radiance shines throughout all creation in every good thing that we behold. We praise You as the Son, whose sufferings and miracles we behold in the scriptures. We praise You as the Holy Spirit poured out upon us all for our sustenance in this world. Praise be unto You, Father Son and Holy Spirit, Amen

Prayer of Thanksgiving

God of all good gifts we bring before you our thanks for all you have done for us. We thank you for the good things that bring smiles to our faces in these difficult times. We give our thanks for the strength we have gained through the Holy Spirit which has enabled us to endure so much in this difficult time. We praise You for all You have given us of the things of this world, that even a pandemic cannot take from us. We thank You for all the gifts of our faith, those which sustain us in this world, and the certain promise of the next. Thanks be unto You, Father Son and Holy Spirit Amen.

Prayer of Confession

Lord our God, we’ve made a mess of things. We have taken Your Good Gifts and put them to wicked uses. We have let our thoughts stray to cruelty, revenge and malice. We have hoped for bad things to happen to others and we have forgotten to turn to You when we should. We have sinned Lord God, and we are sorry. We ask Your Forgiveness, not because we’ve done anything to earn it but because You Love us so much that no matter how badly we go wrong, you forgive us. Your Love is not something we earn it is something given to us in such an abundance it washes us of all our sins. For this we are so very grateful as we are lifted up from the depths of sin to the light of Your Love. Thank You God. Amen

Lord’s Prayer

As our Saviour taught us, so we pray:

Our Father Who art in Heaven,

Hallowed Be Thy Name

Thy Kingdom Come

Thy Will be done

On Earth as it is heaven

Give us this day our daily bread,

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive those that trespass against us

For Thine is the Kingdom

The Power and the Glory

Forever and Ever

Amen
