It’s a bit late in the year to realize we didn’t do an ep for this year’s Oscars, beloved listeners, but don’t worry! This week, to make up for it, we’re talking about the 75th Academy Awards instead, covering movies that came out in 2002!

As per most Oscars related episodes, there is a little bit of complaining about what the Academy Awards are like these days, but the Sneople quickly move on to the award winners of 2002 and the various nominees. This includes Chicago and it’s MANY wins, Adrian Brody becoming the youngest actor at the time to win Best Actor, and Gangs of New York having 10 noms with…no wins. This was also the year Two Towers came out so, you know. Lots to discuss there.

We end this ep (and ep description) getting excited for the Sneople after this one — it’s our 100TH EPISODE!! We’re stoked to finally celebrate our first big milestone with y’all (:
