In our last episode of 2023, the Sneople tackle a topic that has (probably) been a long time coming - the Kenneth Branagh Poirot adaptations!
After a brief overview of the other Poirot content they’re familiar with (Hi, David Suchet), the Sneople discuss all three movies at length. In true Sneople fashion, this covers the things they loved, the choices they respect, and the parts of the movies they wish they could unsee - mostly, large portions of Death on the Nile. There’s also discussions of adaptations of older pieces of media in general, Kenneth Branagh’s other work, and Tom Hiddleston finally being free of his fae pact with the MCU.
This episode also contains multiple discussions of Shakespeare adaptations featuring an uncanny valley version of Matty making their own generic response audio clips. Get ready for an eventual Matty soundboard, I guess.
