Gifford is a small, rural town located in central Illinois. It's self-described as "America's Hometown". It's one of the safest communities in the country. In this series, I'll be discussing the disappearance of Heather Dawn Mullins Zimmerman, the only missing persons case to come out of the town, which also happens to be my hometown.
