The World Wide Web stood up more than three decades ago as a massive document store for all to share. The second big phase of the Internet saw Websites change from static to dynamic, thanks in part to technologies like AJAX and other responsive design modalities, and the influence of social media. Web 3.0 has yet to be clearly defined, but one key characteristic is decentralization: no single point of failure for a particular Web-based solution.
