came over here after I heard SPUN referenced on Behind the Bastards on the Josh Duggar episode and so glad that I did. The hosts are so pleasant to listen to and have great banter. Didn't realize how the IBLP is actually a missing persons issue too! I had never connected the dots between Quiverfull families not getting their kids documents and missing person issues! Exciting to finish the IBLP/Duggar episodes and to listen to other episodes.
Thank you for adding your voices to the crowd demanding an end of violence toward women. While it may be unrealistic to expect happy endings to every missing person story, I think it is totally realistic to dream of a world where things like this don't happen, or at the very least, don't go casually ignored and dismissed. Y'all are the best, and I love you and appreciate that you not only tell us the stories of these unfortunate people, but also make sure that we know as much as we can about the circumstances, cultures, and societies around these women so that we can educate ourselves and our at-risk friends and family about what dangers can come with high-control groups that don't want you to contact your 'non-believer' family, or the dangers of a second location, or just exposing the facts behind the media facade of victim-shaming and tragi-vores (those who feed on the tragedy of others). But most of all, thank you for the dignity and sensitivity that you show to the victims, their families, and all the innocent people who are personally affected by these tragedies.
