Hello, and welcome to another episode of Some Random Thoughts. I am your host, Ryan Mulkowsky. This season, we focus on our guests in the “What’s Your Passion” series. We continue this season with Judah Kreinbrook: medical student and researcher.
In this episode, we discuss Kreinbrook’s background with his family practicing chiropractic medicine and some of the problematic roots and beliefs attached to this methodological approach. This leads us to a conversation of his eventual deconstruction of his faith and his pursuit for truth which led him to science and the field of medicine currently engaging as a medical student and researcher. Kreinbrook goes into detail about his beliefs about valid research, bias and conflict in interest in much of medical research funding, creeping ideology affecting the field of science and research, the problems found in unconventional and alternative medicine, and more.
